Peter was a great guy, a helper, a do-er, he really loved and lived heritage. Without the support and influence of Peter, it is very probable that Cyberheritage would never have been born.Peter will live on through his DVDs, his Wreckers Guide books and his web site, A stunning shot looking towards Plymouth Sound from Penlee Villas - now very much an urban area, this looks like it was a semi rural paradise - well if you were rich anyway. BARN POOL, GARDEN BATTERY, MOUNT WISE, STONEHOUSE POOL, WESTERN& EASTERN KINGS and the PLYMOUTH hinterland behind.
Moving along we have a cracking photo of MARSH MILLS in PLYMOUTH showing the LAIRA BATTERY and EFFORT FORT.
Both now largely overgrown, but intact especially below ground, you can easily see the strategic location of these fortification works. Then a very detailed and busy image of MOUNT WISE, DEVONPORT, PLYMOUTH showing that once it was public swimming pool area , which it still is, but not looking like this!
